Data Deletion Request

You have the right to request deletion of all personal data SocialSyncs holds about you, including any data obtained via connected social media accounts (Instagram, YouTube, etc.).

What data will be deleted

  • Your SocialSyncs account and profile information
  • All connected social media account tokens and profile data
  • Instagram data: messages, comments, story replies, media, and insights
  • Scheduled and published post history
  • Automation workflows and settings
  • Billing and subscription records (subject to legal retention requirements)

Deletion is completed within 30 days of your confirmed request. You will receive an email confirmation once the deletion is complete.

How to request deletion

Send an email to trysocialsyncs@gmail.com with the subject line Data Deletion Request and include:

  • The email address you used to register on SocialSyncs
  • Your Instagram username (if you connected an Instagram account)

Self-service account deletion

If you have access to your account you can also delete it directly from within the app:

  1. Log in at app.socialsyncs.co
  2. Go to Settings → Account
  3. Click Delete Account and confirm

This immediately revokes all connected social media access tokens and schedules your data for deletion within 30 days.

Instagram / Meta data

SocialSyncs accesses your Instagram data via Meta's official APIs under your explicit authorisation. When your data is deleted from SocialSyncs:

  • Your Instagram access token is revoked immediately
  • All Instagram data we stored (messages, comments, media, insights) is deleted within 30 days
  • Data on Instagram's own platform is not affected — to manage that, visit your Instagram account settings

You can also revoke SocialSyncs's access to your Instagram account directly in the Instagram app: Settings → Security → Apps and Websites.
